Naptime U.™
How it Works
Naptime U.™ is our professional development program for early childhood teachers. Our workshops, most of which take place during children’s naptime, are taught by master teaching artists and provide teachers with the skills and tools they need to be able to effectively integrate the arts into the classroom. Inspired Child is certified as a professional development provider by DC’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), and teachers who participate in Naptime U.™ workshops earn credit hours they can use toward their professional recertification. The content of the workshops align with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Common Core standards.

To register for a professional development session, you must have a Learning Management System (LMS) account.
Sign up for aN IN PERSON WORKSHOP
Inspired Child provides on-site professional development workshops during your staff development days. 2-6 hour workshops are available.
All participants earn OSSE certified clock hours. We work with you to create a workshop that best suits the needs of your teachers and students.
