Rainbowdance®
toddler Program
Rainbowdance®, created by the Boston Children’s Foundation, is a trauma-informed music and movement program for toddlers. This program is geared towards children ages 18 months to 36 months and the adults who care for them. This unique arts-based program fosters the social and emotional skills necessary for children to thrive, and it offers children the opportunity to express themselves.
How It works
The Rainbowdance® program can be offered many different ways:
Classroom Residencies:
An Inspired Child Teaching Artist is paired with a classroom teacher to bring the Rainbowdance® flow to children ages 18 - 36 mos. Residencies are also available for Pre-K classes for children with special needs. Each classroom teacher will receive the following:
10 sessions
OSSE certified professional development hours
Access to the Rainbowdance music to continue beyond the residency
In Your Community:
Rainbowdance® can be offered as in a single or multi-workshop setting for community events, neighborhood gatherings, family days, and any other way you’d like to create community.
Parent & Me Sessions:
Inspired Child offers registration based parent & me Rainbowdance® sessions through out the year.
