Dancing With Books with Natasha

Using steady beat, simple props and other arts-based techniques to create engaging story time.

Children love stories! They learn best through stories. This interactive workshop led by Inspired Child teaching artist Natasha Mirny will cover important tools that will help you become a better storyteller and engage your students in a creative and educational story time. We will go over some new creative ideas of how we can keep students engaged during story time with chants, steady beat, simple props and movement. We will cover simple but highly effective storytelling techniques that will allow you to easily incorporate early childhood math and science into your story time with children.
