Meet Our Teaching Artists
vALERIE CARROLL
Valerie Bayne Carroll has been teaching early childhood music and drama classes for children aged 0-5 for over 35 years. She is a Master Teaching Artist with the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning through the Arts and has also taught for the Sitar Arts Center, Lenore Blank Kelner & Co, Imagination Stage, Round House Theatre, and The Kennedy Center. For Wolf Trap she has conducted classroom residencies, parent-child classes, professional development workshops for early childhood educators and training programs for teaching artists across the U.S. and in India, Italy, and Puerto Rico. Also, through Wolf Trap, she has developed arts-based curricula via grants from The National Endowment for the Arts, Head Start, The US Department of Education, and Zero to Three. Valerie has a BFA in Theater from Boston University
